Dr. Jagdish Kaur Bains, Principal is fortunate enough to carve a place  for herself in the field of teacher education with cooperation, encouragement and good wishes of her colleagues and friends, Recognising her humble achievements for promoting the cause of teacher education at various levels, She was honoured to be:

• Dean - Faculty of Education, P.U. Chandigarh
• Member, Board of studies (Education)
• Member, Academic Council, P.U. Chd.
• Member of  NAAC (National Assessment and Accrediation Council) Committee for various colleges in India
• She presented a number of papers for National Magazines.
• Published book titled 'Population Explosion in the Eyes of Educated Women
• Guiding 6 Ph.D students
• Completed Project on Elementry Education sponsored by  UGC (University Grants Commission)
• Attended number of conferences and workshops at different places. She attend international conference of All India Association for Education Research  on 'Learning Organisation in a Learning World' from April 18 to 22, 2005 at Bangkok.
• Visited Canada & America  and visited Mc Grill University, Ontorio University and University of Montreal in Canada (Quebec state), and also visited Manchaster University (Washington D.C.) in America. Also visited Loudson School at Virginia (Washington D.C.)
